The consultant firm S.E. Standard Engineering Studio L.t.d has been established in
March 2009, formally Donard Strazimiri, who previously has operated as a sole
trader/consultant firm from 2007. The SE STUDIO is a Limited Liability Company
registered under NIPT no. K91512002U in the Commercial Register of the National
Registration Center. During the last years the company has an average employee of 8
persons mainly with university degree and working as experts in the water and
wastewater sector. Also, the Company has successfully cooperated with experienced
freelance consultants in the implementation of big infrastructure projects. SE Standard
Engineering Studio has participated as Sub-consultant/JV company of outstanding
internationally consultants. SE Standard Engineering Studio Ltd is being structured by
general manager Mr. Fatjon SHAHA.
SE Standard Engineering Studio Ltd avails of substantial expertise in the water and
sanitation sector in Albania. The company has gained a broad experience in the design
and supervision of the works in some of the big projects in Albania. Together with the
technical infrastructure the Company has developed also the institutional component
gaining valuable expertise in the institutional strengthening and capacity building of the
water utilities in Albania.
Main selected projects that the company has been involved are listed as follows:

Municipal Infrastructure Programme III&IV, Albania. Consulting Services for
Provision of Consultancy Services for Design and Construction Supervision for
“Rural Water Supply Project III”
The services are provided as a sub-consultant with CES Salzgitter Consulting GmBH
and consist of providing the detail design and construction supervision of different water
schemes in the country. Major work items include construction of spring captures,
installation of transmission pipelines, reservoirs, chlorination buildings, valve chambers,
river crossings, pumping stations, distribution network including house connection with
water meter installations. Also, it includes installation of sewerage networks and
constructions of septic tanks. The project is financed by the German Government
through kfW development bank and the total value of works is approx. 30 million euro.

Institutional Consulant for Water Supply and Waste Water Utilities for Kamza,
Lushnja, Librazhd, Berat, Gjirokastra and Delvina
Joint Venture with CES Salzgitter Consulting GmbH to provide consultancy services to
six water supply and waste water utilities, Lezhe, Fier, Gjirokaster, Sarande, Lushnje
and Kamza. The services consist in development of a strategic business plan, tariff
adjustment plans and revenue increase and cost savings programmes to achieve cost
coverage and financial independence. Reduction of unbilled authorized consumption
and apparent losses together with the improvement of customer relations measures are
also part of the services. The project is financed by the German Government through
kfW development bank.

Supervision and Valuation services for water supply and sewerage water assets,
land and building in defined villages.
Sub-contracted by GFC Studio an Albanian firm to provide, for each of approximately
600 villages in the Out of Service Areas in Rural Areas, a list of the water supply and
wastewater assets (including buildings and land), together with an actual value of the
assets to be incorporated into the accounts of the new Local Government Unit, or new
utility to be formed, which will be created under the Territorial Administrative Reform
program

Municipal I & II– Institutional Training Measure for Water Supply and Wastewater
Utility, in Albania
Providing Consultancy Services as a sub-consultant of Haskoning Nederland B.V for
the institutional and training support to four water supply and waste water utilities,
Lezhe, Fier, Gjirokaster, Sarande, Lushnje and Kamza. The services consist in
development of a strategic business plan, tariff adjustment plans and revenue increase
and cost savings programmes to achieve cost coverage and financial independence.

Detail Design of Mustafa Xhabrahimi Road
Performing the detail design for the Mustafa Xhabrahimi road including the design for
the water supply, sewerage, drainageand storm water infrastructure. The total value of
the works was approx 300,000 euro and it was financed by the Commune of Farke.
